CARTER
Adventurer, merchant, Ronin Carter is a reluctant hero. Using a mix of cunning and action he find his way through any situation. His ships are ambushed while in deep space leaving him adrift alone. He’s forced to confront his own demons and shortcomings as a mysterious power stored within awakens. Kicks and bites in a fight. Favorite weapon the TAOTAZER.
GUS
Gus is the last Sun Bear, a race destroyed when he was only a cub. Gifted with incredibly long lifespans and extremely short attention spans, sun bears also exhibit telekinetic abilities, or so legends have told. Gus searches for his memory and places it in the stars with a technical gift and a sweet baritone voice. His special powers include levitation, general scariness to smaller creatures, and a healthy appetite.
MISO
Spy for the Royal Space Guild the most elite of spy and information networks in the known universe. Miso is an acolyte of a Rodere Master House where she learned the skills of a space saboteur. She ended up alone lost in space and prisoner on the same Squid ship that holds Carter. Fits in small spaces.
The NINE
The Nine are elder spirits resonating within gemstones sublime. The true power of the Nine is forgotten and they are treated as a mere tool. They have been moved around the universe for centuries, the vibrations from their stones leaving clear lanes in space for safe travel. Unknown to the world around them they have millennia long arguments raging to this day.
JINX
A vain cat desiring to rule the universe and callously destroying anything in his path. Jinx’s mind has been twisted and possessed by darkness turning him into a self-aggrandized master of all. In his quest for power he has turned to dark forgotten magic. His anger, entitlement, and ambition warp every decision as he murders and destroys everything in his path to attain his goal.
ONKI LOPOD
Captain of the Moluska Prime, a fiery tempered and flamboyant Giant Squid. The squid are nomadic scavengers who slowly migrate across spacetime. Onki runs what seems like a tight ship but is really a leaking, rotting mess of ships stuck together with primitive means.
